Abuse Bishop victim: Church still 'cruel' to us
An independent report has been published which says senior figures in the Church of England colluded with a former bishop who abused young men.
Two years ago Peter Ball, who is 85, was jailed after admitting sex offences against 18 teenagers.
One of those teenagers is now a serving vicar, Reverend Graham Sawyer of Briercliffe in Burnley.
He told Radio 4's PM programme that despite the Church of England making changes to stop this kind of abuse happening again, the way the highest levels of the Church "treat people like me, the people I speak with, can only be described as enduringly cruel and enduringly sadistic".
