My father, the President
Samia Nkrumah is the daughter of Ghana's first president, Kwame Nkrumah - the man who led his country to independence in 1957, and became an international symbol of freedom as the leader of the first African country to shake off the chains of colonial rule. When he died, Samia was just a child, but here she reflects on what his death has meant to her since.
