Akram Khan on Arundhati Roy
Akram Khan is one of the most acclaimed dancers and choreographers in the world, masterminding the main set piece for the Opening Ceremony of the London Olympic Games in 2012.
In an exclusive film for 大象传媒 Arts Digital, he tells of his appreciation for Indian author Arundhati Roy, and discusses her influence on his work.
Published earlier this month - some 20 years after her Booker Prize-winning debut The God of Small Things - Roy's second novel The Ministry of Utmost Happiness was one of the most eagerly awaited books of the year.
