Bid to end 'ridiculous' Lords by-elections
A Labour life peer wants to abolish by-elections where hereditary members of the House of Lords vote for new colleagues when one of them dies.
Lord Grocott spoke to Daily Politics presenter Jo Coburn and her guests Stephen Crabb and Margaret Hodge, about why he wants to end the elections, which he said were "beyond ridiculous".
