Kathleen and Louise work together on the Doncaster Minster Literacy Project which supports people seeking to learn and improve their English, particularly refugees and asylum seekers.

The idea for it came about after the first of two visits Louise made to Kos in 2015 as a volunteer supporting people in the European refugee and migrant crisis.
