Is it sensible for separate firms to own the trains and track?
The Conservative Norman - Lord - Tebbit has questioned whether it's "really sensible" to have trains and track owned by separate companies.
As Alicia McCarthy reports for Today in Parliament, he made his remarks as the House of Lords discussed ongoing problems with Southern Rail. A Minister revealed that drivers on the service were being offered basic pay of 60 thousand a year.
