Ep 4: What if Women Ruled the World?

Yael Bartana鈥檚 groundbreaking film and performance project set in a war room where a group of 10 women will be confronted by some of the urgent crises of our time.

Recorded live on 8 July 2017, Bartana has created an environment that has actors and experts coming together to exchange ideas about a new future.

Tonights experts are:

Bana Gora has been involved with social policy and community engagement on local and national levels, including work for domestic violence services in Keighley and the Joseph Rowntree Foundation.

Nancy Hollander is an internationally recognised criminal defence lawyer from the Albuquerque, New Mexico rm of Freedman Boyd Hollander Goldberg Urias & Ward PA.

Birgitta Jo虂nsdo虂ttir is an anarchist, activist and poet who has served since April 2009 as an MP in the Icelandic parliament representing the Pirate Party, whose manifesto is based on pirate politics and direct democracy.

Dr Patricia M Lewis is the Research Director, International Security at Chatham House in London. She publishes widely on all aspects of international security including chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear weapons, conventional forces, cyber security, space security, internet governance, terrorism and conflict prevention.

Kasha Jacqueline Nabagesera is a Ugandan LGBT rights activist. Born in Kampala, she founded the LGBT rights organisation Freedom & Roam Uganda in response to witnessing and experiencing the harassment, discrimination and violence Ugandan women face because of their gender identity or sexual orientation.
