'We need to see whether the law is up to speed' on drones
Solicitor General: we need to make sure there are no legal loopholes on drones
Solicitor General and Conservative MP Robert Buckland has said that the "relatively recent phenomenon" of drones means that there is a need to make sure that the "quite old" aviation legislation is now up to speed and does not have any loopholes.
Speaking to the Westminster Hour, Mr Buckland said there was a need to "make sure that where offences take place causing, let鈥檚 face it, risk to life and limb, massive disruption and criminal damage, that the law is fit for the purpose of prosecuting perpetrators of this sort of crime."
