Justin Trudeau out and about in Edinburgh
Justin Trudeau has begun his first official visit to Scotland.
The Canadian prime minister gave graduates an inspiring speech as he received an honorary degree from the University of Edinburgh after telling them "go make us proud".
There was time for small talk, during a walkabout, but no comment to be made on the merits of Brexit.
Mr Trudeau met the Queen, for a private audience, at the Palace of Holyroodhouse.
The visit comes as Canada celebrates the 150th anniversary of its provinces uniting as one country.
