Reading FC: Stam wants to complete his Royals project
Royals boss Jaap Stam signed a new contract with the club until the summer of 2019.
And he wants to complete the project he began last season.
"We had a great season last season," he told 大象传媒 Radio Berkshire's Jack Winstanley. "We started a project over here that hopefully within three to four seasons will mean we can have a go at the Premier League."
"The club are very happy with me, I am very happy with the club."
And he explained the club did all the could to keep hold of Danny Williams.
"We offered him a very good contract, Brian did very well in offering him a new contract.
"He didn't want to leave for another Championship club...but if the opportunity came along to go to a Premier League team he wanted a shot at it."
