Rowing: Satch's dad over the moon with World Cup victory
Martin, father of British Rowing's Will Satch, was pleased to see his son claiming gold.
Despite the difficulties, Martin was delighted to see his son pick up the World Cup victory.
"Chuffed to bits," he told 大象传媒 Radio Berkshire's Tim Dellor. "It's been a tough season for those lads off the back of Rio.
"They've had a few challenges, as we know, in that boat, but now they're back on top, I'm delighted."
And Martin says Will was convinced to remove his beard for this regatta.
"Jurgen (Grobler) had a go at him every day for a month to shave that beard off.
"He decided to shave it off because somebody mistook him for a 36-year-old!"
