Fresh call for an independent inquiry into Trump's campaign team
Donald Trump Jr has admitted he met with a Kremlin-linked Russian lawyer last year, after being promised damaging intormation about Hillary Clinton, according to the New York Times. Trump's son said he met Natalia Veselnitskaya but that "no meaningful information" on Mrs Clinton was shared. The president's son-in-law Jared Kushner and the then-campaign head Paul J Manafort also attended the meeting. John Wolfsthal -- an ex-advisor to former President Barack Obama -- has reacted to the revelation.
