Scale of terrorist threat "unprecedented"
The former head of MI5, Lady Manningham-Buller, has described the scale of the terrorist threat facing the United Kingdom as "unprecedented".
She told peers the number of potential plots had grown enormously since the July 7th attacks 12 years ago.
