Why do MPs face online abuse?
MPs are debating why they receive so much abuse from the public and the issue is causing divisions between the two main parties.
Labour has accused the Conservatives of promoting personal attacks as a core part of its election campaign but some Tories suggested that left-wing activists, who back Jeremy Corbyn, are behind a rise in abuse.
Daily Politics presenter Jo Coburn looked at the background, before Andrew Neil heard from Conservative David Gauke and Labour's Jack Dromey, who was warned about his language in the discussion.
