Why tuna protestors took to the streets
There have been complaints of slavery in some parts of the Thai tuna fishing fleet. It provoked protests in Thailand, and elsewhere. Now one of the biggest tuna fishing firms has agreed to improve workers' conditions - in co-operation with Greenpeace. Charles Haviland and the FT's Bangkok correspondent Michael Peel.
