Robert Halfon: "This kind of bickering weakens us"

Conservative MP Robert Halfon has suggested that those responsible for briefing and leaking stories in the Cabinet "need to literally have a cold shower and then perhaps a warm pint afterwards."

Asked what he made of what is happening at the top of the Conservative Party following leaked stories from Cabinet meetings against the Chancellor Philip Hammond, Mr Halfon told the Westminster Hour "this is incredibly bad for our party; we need to be strong, we need to be, dare I say it, to use that famous word, stable for the country, and I think that this kind of bickering weakens us."
