Nigeria: tackling gender inequality in Makoko slum
The slums of Makoko on the outskirts of the Nigerian city of Lagos is hosting this weekend a well known stage play called 'Hear Word'. The woman behind this initiative -- Nigerian writer, director and producer Ifeoma Fafunwa -- speaks to 大象传媒 Newsday. But first, here's a taste of what the residents of Makoko can expect to see.
