'Being connected to the world is important'
In July 2017 President Adama Barrow of The Gambia addressed parliament for the first time. He gave an impassioned speech about unity, reconciliation and building bridges with the rest of the world. He also outlined an economic vision to tackle the country's poor infrastructure and create jobs for the youth.
The 大象传媒's Lerato Mbele sat down with him and asked why bringing The Gambia out of isolation was the most important thing he wanted to do.
