Popular Weymouth fireworks display saved by a Dorset charity and a man's dying wish
62-year-old Michael Hunter from Sherborne passed away from bile duct cancer and a rare liver disease last October. His final wish was for his ashes to be scattered at a fireworks event in Weymouth, after working on the town's displays for more than 20 years. Weldmar Hospicecare - which organises the fireworks - has now confirmed this year's display will go ahead on 21st August as a tribute to Michael, after the event's future was under threat. Michael's daughter Sam Hunter and Weldmar's Head of Fundraising Matt Smith joined Steve in the studio.
