Maidenhead United: Devonshire delighted to execute game plan
The Magpies boss was pleased with the clinical performance in the 4-1 win over AFC Fylde.
Alan Devonshire knew his homework paid off as Maidenhead picked up their second National League win of the season.
"We knew how they played," he told 大象传媒 Radio Berkshire's Adam Whitty. "But to be fair, the sending off probably changed the game a bit.
"That's probably made it easier for us, but you still have to score goals, we've won 4-1, and I'm totally delighted."
And Devonshire reserved special words for his striker Dave Tarpey.
"He's on fire at the moment...seven goals in four games, it says it all doesn't it.
"This is a lad no one took a chance on...we're glad to have him, happy days!"
