'Jese was one of the best Spanish players of his generation'

Spanish journalist Diego Marino says new Stoke loan signing Jese was one of the best players of his generation.

The forward has joined the Potters on loan until the end of the season, and becomes the fifth Champions League winner to have been signed by Mark Hughes' side.

Marino believes the move gives Jese a chance to rebuild his career, which has been disrupted by a serious knee injury in 2014.
