Street dance crew FFRES perform a ballet/street fusion piece on 'Alesha鈥檚 Street Dance Stars'. The performance begins with the all male crew using traditional ballet music from the Nutcracker. Throughout the performance they change between street music and classical which adds to the overall look of the work. One sequence is specifically inspired by the 'Dance of the Cygnets' from Swan Lake - with a street twist. Their performance successfully incorporates ballet and different street styles including popping, locking and house. They wear usual street style clothing but reveal tutus hidden underneath. The judges on 'Alesha's Street Dance Stars' were full of praise for this piece, as technically the crew master both forms and fuse them imaginatively.
