Is The Lady 'pandering to Burmese extremists'?
Myanmar's government - led by Nobel prize winner Aung Sang Suu Kyi - has accused international aid workers of helping 'terrorists' in the western state of Rakhine. Fighting erupted there over the weekend. Rakhine is the poorest region of Myanmar and home to more than one million Rohingya Muslims who face severe restrictions inside the mainly Buddhist country. Newsday got the reaction of Burmese activist Dr Maung Zarni.
