Sebastian Alvarado is a geneticist at Stanford University in the American state of California. He studies the DNA of animals and how features like body shapes and colour patterns are transmitted from one generation to the next....but he didn't land that job by chance. He told Matthew how he'd been obsessed with science since he was a child.
