Endangered Cultures: The Himba
The Himba -- famous for the red ochre in their hair and skin -- are one of the world's endangered cultures. For centuries, they pursued a semi-nomadic life, living off the land in a remote part of northern Namibia. Having survived mass killings by German troops in the early 1900s, they've managed to retain their traditional lifestyles. But they now face a bigger threat -- encroaching modernisation. Pumza Fihlani has travelled to a Himba village for the second of our series on changing Africa.
