Butcher: England have no world class players
Former England captain Terry Butcher believes there are no world class players in the current team.
England overcame Malta's stubborn resistance, beating them 4-0 to stay in control of their qualifying group for next summer's World Cup.
Butcher said: "England haven't got any world class players,
"So when they come and play for England, they are playing for a team which has got considerably less ability than a Premier League team."
England are now two points ahead of Slovakia, who they face at Wembley on Monday.
