London Irish: "We showed a lot of desire"
Exiles Director of Rugby Nick Kennedy was delighted with his side's opening league win.
London Irish defeated Harlequins 39-29 in their opening game of the Premiership season.
"I thought we played well," Kennedy told 大象传媒 Radio Berkshire's Adam Williams. "I thought there was definitely more in the tank for us.
"We were confident, we came off the back of a good year, we're building."
And Kennedy admits he was nervous towards the end of the match.
"It was tense, I think the boys felt the tension on the pitch.
"The coaches felt the tension, but we've got some good leaders out there, some really good experience...so the boys closed the game out nicely."
