Maidenhead United: Devonshire keen to push Barratt on
The Magpies boss is looking to utilise winger Sam Barratt in a number of positions.
During the 2-0 win over Sutton, Barratt was deployed as a striker, despite being a winger by trade.
"The kid's quality," Devonshire told 大象传媒 Radio Berkshire's Adam Whitty. "He's still learning the game, but he can do things which are very special.
"He's been patient, he plays on the left but I think there's other positions he can play, he's still learning."
But Devonshire admitted there was no talk of Dave Tarpey ahead of the game, who left for Barnet on transfer deadline day.
"There was no talk about Dave Tarpey before, we were concentrating on this game.
"He didn't play at Barrow did he? So at the end of the day it's not like we haven't got results without him before."
