Professional Football: Report shows mixed results for ethnic minorities
The proportion of BAME players has doubled since the Premier League began in 1992 according to a new report.The research was carried out by talkSPORT and reveals that 33 per cent of the players in the Premier League are from black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds.But the survey also shows much room for improvement when it comes to BME representation off the field in areas such as coaching and management.Terry Angus is a former Northampton Town footballer and Community Equalities Executive for the PFA, and speaks to 大象传媒 Radio Northampton's Mark Dean about the findings in the following interview
