CCTV captures crossing hit and run

Video has been released of a car hitting a man as he used a zebra crossing in Essex, before it then reversed away from the scene.

The 22-year-old was taken to hospital with minor injuries after the crash in Old Road, Clacton, at about 01:15 on Saturday.

The car was driven away from the incident down St Andrew's Road.

Police are appealing for witnesses.
