The National Forest has unveiled a 10-year strategy to boost tourism, visitors and create hundreds of new jobs.

The Forest covers 200 square miles across Leicestershire, Derbyshire and Staffordshire.

Ian Varley is a carpenter from Tithe Farm in Barrow upon Soar, he's grateful for the help he's receiving from The National Forest,

Besides making garden furniture and oak play structures, Ian Varley says he's also passionate about teaching green woodworking- he says he found the inspiration after hearing about the decline of rural craft businesses on the Countryfile television show.
