Falling off Bolivia's 'Death Road'
There is a road in Bolivia nicknamed the Death Road because hundreds of people have lost their lives while travelling on it. Its real name is the Yungas Road and it winds through the Oriental mountain chain, atop cliffs, and through steep hillsides. And it was here that Norwegian student, Maria With Hoen, went cycling with a group of her classmates in 2015. She was 20, getting ready to go to university. Maria tells Jo Fidgen about her excitement at the prospect of an adventure.
