QE2 launch remembered
On September 20, 1967, the QE2 launched from John Brown's yard in Clydebank.
Shipyard apprentice Peter Kemp was one of the thousands of people who saw the Queen name the ship.
Peter has fond memories of the launch, and recalls how during its construction he would sneak on to the ship armed with some papers under his arm just so he could have a look around.
