大象传媒 Minute: On earthquakes in Mexico
A 7.1 magnitude earthquake has struck Mexico, toppling buildings in the capital Mexico City and killing hundreds. Exactly 32 years ago thousands died in an earthquake there, and it's also less than a fortnight after another quake in the country killed over 90 people. 大象传媒 Minute asked David Rothery, a Professor of Planetary Geosciences at the Open University, about why the country is so susceptible to earthquakes.
