Magath made us stand still for 40 minutes - Sidwell
Former manager Felix Magath made Fulham players stand still during training for up to 40 minutes, says Steve Sidwell, who played under the German at Craven Cottage.
The 64-year-old was in charge of Fulham for less than a calendar year, but certainly made an impression on his squad.
Sidwell remembers a particularly bizarre training session.
"We got outside, there were no balls coming out with us. He said 'can you get in your positions from yesterday?'. So we stood there, and he said 'you didn't want to run around yesterday, we're not going to run around today.' He blew the whistle, and we just had to stand still!'
