Northern Irish Golfer Plays Longest Hole Ever!
A rugby playing former student of Dalriada Prep in Ballymoney and Coleraine Inst has just spent eighty days playing a golf hole from one end of Mongolia to the other.
It's a distance of about 2000km, up snowy mountains, across vast plains, and through the Gobi Desert.
Adam Rolston was attempting to complete the longest golf hole in the world with friend Ron Rutland to raise funds for the sport charity Laureus Sport for Good. On their journey a stray dog began to follow them and the three of them completed 'The Longest Hole' last weekend.
As soon as he sank the final putt and got back to Hong Kong where he's based, he spoke to John Toal on the phone about the challenge.
