Danny Carter is excited to finish pre-season and play some competitive matches.

Reading Rockets start their season against with a National Trophy double-header on Saturday and Sunday.

"I'm looking to go in and make a really good account of ourselves," Carter told 大象传媒 Radio Berkshire's Jack Winstanley. "With my competitive side we're going for two wins.

"Anytime we're going out to play we're going for a win."

And Carter says fans are in for a treat when they come to see a Rockets game.

"I've never actually known anyone who has come to a game and not enjoyed it.

"It's a really nice family environment, but it gets intense at times!"
