Why you should use separate bags for life
The Food Standards Agency is warning about the safety of bags for life, saying they pose a food poisoning risk if they are used to carry raw foods such as meat and fish.
The Head of Policy at the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health has said the warning is "common sense advice" that has been given out to consumers for years "in respect to storing goods in the fridge".
Tony Lewis told PM about the dangers of bad bacteria and suggested using "separate bags for life for those riskier items".
