Neville: FA chief shouldn鈥檛 comment on England鈥檚 performance
Ex-England defender Phil Neville has hit back at Football Association chief executive Martin Glenn鈥檚 criticisms of the national side.
Speaking at the Leaders in Sport conference, Glenn said 鈥淓ngland players do not travel well鈥 and described their performance against Iceland at Euro 2016 as 鈥渟hame鈥.
However, Neville believes Glenn should not be 鈥渃ommenting on the football side鈥 and should 鈥渏ust leave it to [manager] Gareth Southgate鈥.
大象传媒 senior football reporter Ian Dennis also criticised Glenn鈥檚 comments, stating that England 鈥渄o travel well鈥 in qualifying.
