30 years ago, a key event occurred in the history of Indian Cricket.
The year was 1987 and the fourth edition of the Cricket World Cup, hosted by India and Pakistan as the event moved away from England for the first time.
India's triumph in 1983 brought fans in droves to the stadia throughout the event, and Kapil Dev's men cruised through the group stages to raise hopes of another success.
