Major new project launched to collect and preserve poems in endangered languages

Project calling readers to submit poems that could be lost to future generations

A major new project has been launched in London to collect and preserve poems in endangered languages; with the 00th anniversary of the Bolshevik Revolution approaching, Jamie Coomarasamy has been travelling between St Petersburg and Moscow, talking to a wide range of Russians about their attitudes towards the past and present. Presenter Anu Anand discusses these stories with guests Judy Dempsey, a Senior Fellow at Carnegie Europe, and Ian Black, a visiting senior fellow at Middle East Centre at the London School of Economics.
