Ryan Upward: 'I'm buzzing it went in!'
The Maidenhead United midfielder Ryan Upward is delighted to score the goal to secure FA Cup passage.
Upward scored a volley in the 91st minute to ensure the Magpies reach the FA Cup First Round.
"There were two flick-ons I think," Upward told 大象传媒 Radio Berkshire's Adam Whitty. "It went over Adrian Clifton, then [Jake Hyde] flicked it on.
"I had a look at the goal, and I don't score many volleys to be fair, so I'm buzzing it went in."
And Upward knows just how helpful a run in the FA Cup can be for the club.
"It's great for the club financially...because we're lower league and we haven't got a massive budget.
"It helps fund the club, make the facilities better and things like that.
"It's any players dream to do well in the FA Cup from a lower league."
