T20 Global League: 'I could have been Chris Gayle's team-mate'
Billed as an answer to the IPL and Big Bash, South Africa's T20 Global League has been postponed by a year until November 2018 - leaving players, sponsors, team owners and staff in limbo.
Cricket South Africa was reportedly set to lose in the region of $25m (拢19m) if the competition had gone ahead after failing to land a domestic TV deal.
The postponement has disappointed many people, including young up-and-coming cricketers, like Jason Smith, who has deemed this as a setback to his growth as a cricketer.
