The Royals boss thinks it won鈥檛 be long before Reading improve their league position.

Jaap Stam knows how quickly things can change in the Championship as the season progresses.

鈥淚 know where we are, but I鈥檓 not frustrated by that,鈥� Stam told 大象传媒 Radio Berkshire鈥檚 Jack Winstanley. 鈥淚t鈥檚 the most important thing towards the end of the season and where we are then.

鈥淲e still have a game in hand as well, if we can keep it up and keep winning our games then within a couple of games we can be in the middle or in the top bit of the table.鈥�

And Stam knows how tricky the test against high-flying Sheffield United will be in their next Championship game.

鈥淲e鈥檙e aware they are a very good team鈥�and individually they have very good players.
