Remembering Goring-on-Thames' George Michael
Henley record producer Pete Smith worked with George Michael on Live Aid, he told 大象传媒 Radio Berkshire's Sarah Walker his memories of the singer.
Pete Smith, Henley Record Producer:
"Live Aid was such a great event, and I was involved in the billing and the scheduling. He became a great solution on a Monday morning... we'd allowed him twenty minutes, then the message came back he said he'd only be doing the one song with Elton John.
"He knew that Careless Whisper needed to be presented on a huge stage.
"He was his own grand master, and he could understand that less was more."
