Reading FC: John Swift returns during 'tough' game
The Reading midfielder John Swift returned from injury but was unable to inspire victory.
Despite Swift's introduction in the 66th minute, he was unable to rescue a point for the Royals in a 2-1 defeat to Sheffield United.
"It's a bad game to come back into," Swift told ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio Berkshire's Tim Dellor. "But it's good to be back out there.
"We couldn't really play our normal game so it became a more physical game...we've got to try and keep it at at least 0-0 in the first half."
And Swift admitted not having a fit striker is an issue for the club.
"It's tough when you don't have an out and out striker...you've got to try and work the ball, there isn't an out ball.
"Against Leeds Jon Dadi (Bodvarsson) up top did that really well, when we were under pressure we put it up to him."
