London Irish: Mulchrone disappointed with Saracens loss
Fergus Mulchrone knows the effort was there, but result was not in Saracens defeat.
London Irish lost 44-13 in the Premiership as their opponents went top of the league.
"I'm very disappointed," Mulchrone told 大象传媒 Radio Berkshire's Adam Williams. "You see a scoreline like that, you almost feel it's unacceptable.
"The effort was there, fair play to Saracens, they're a clinical team who took the opportunities as and when they came."
And Mulchrone is keen to stress that the team will only take one game at a time, starting with their Anglo Welsh Cup match against Bath on Saturday.
"We are not a team, a squad, or a club that can look past next week.
"We'll take it week by week by week...it's got to be one week at a time."
