Kate Summerhayes and Murray Buchan are Great Britain medal hopefuls heading to next year's winter Olympics to compete in the freestyle and halfpipe skiing events.

Kate told 5 live Breakfast about the close bond within the team:

鈥淚 met Murray when I was ten years-old so we鈥檝e grown up together. [The team] is very much family based.

鈥淚t鈥檚 really nice to travel with people you鈥檝e spent your whole life with,鈥� she added.

The pair will be part of the 60-strong Great Britain team that will compete at the next year鈥檚 winter games in Pyong Chang, South Korea.
