Are we falling out of love with beer?
New figures show that we bought 35 million fewer pints of beer this autumn compared to the same time last year. It鈥檚 the biggest drop in this period for 5 years.
Neil Williams of the British Beer and Pub Association said tax increases and more people drinking at home, instead of the pub, are two reasons for the drop in sales.
He said: 鈥淚 think we tend to see other drinks more as the drink at home and beer very much as the drink of the pub.鈥
