'Speed up mental health support for children in care'
England's children's commissioner Anne Longfield has told the Victoria Derbyshire programme that the care system has been too focused on child safeguarding in the past, and not enough on helping children recover from traumatic upbringings.
She said there should be "a presumption" among those working in the sector that all children in care should receive support for their mental health.
Children in care are four times more likely to have a mental health condition. Callum talks to our reporter Louis Lee Ray about his experiences.
